Join us for an evening of reflection and spiritual sharing as we experience the essence and beauty of the sacred festival, Rakshabandhan.
This ancient celebration reminds us of the auspicious bond between each soul
and God, the One who is supreme in love and whose sweet teachings become our ultimate protection.
with Special Guest BK Gital Patel
Sister Gita has practiced Raja Yoga Meditation for the past 37 years, ultimately becoming the lead coordinator of the Brahma Kumaris Meditation Center in the Southern California region. Although based in Los Angeles, she travels extensively, offering people of diverse backgrounds the opportunity to awaken their inner power and potential.
In this sacred and silent ritual, each person will receive:
▪ A sacred bracelet that, when tied around the wrist, rekindles the eternal love between the soul and the Supreme.
▪ A tilak (sacred dot) symbolic of soul consciousness on your forehead.
▪ A sweet prepared in remembrance of the Supreme and a blessing.
▪ Share a light vegetarian supper.
The Full Experience
To preserve the sanctity and stillness of the atmosphere, we are limiting the number of guests. If you feel you know someone who is sincere about their spiritual growth and comfortable with silence and meditation for a period of time, you are welcome to invite them to join the ceremony. However, please be discerning as space is limited.
Some have inquired about any dress code for the program. Although there is no specific dress code, we do suggest modest and appropriate attire for a spiritual ceremony.
